Website Use

Estimate Requests and Estimates
Submitting a request does not create a contract. An estimate describes the anticipated scope and pricing based on information available at that time and becomes binding only when accepted or otherwise agreed as stated in the estimate. Pricing or scope may change if site conditions, concealed damage, measurements, requested changes, or other material facts differ from what was originally understood.
Appointments and Scheduling
Appointment requests are not confirmed until Carolina Home Surgeons contacts you and confirms them. Scheduling depends on availability, project needs, material availability, weather, access, and other circumstances. Reasonable delays may occur because of events outside our control.
Project Scope and Changes
Project details, pricing, and timelines are agreed upon in writing before work begins. Any changes to the scope of work may affect pricing and scheduling and must be agreed upon by both parties.
Additional Work, Materials, and Payment
Change orders or additional work may require revised pricing and scheduling. Materials are subject to availability and reasonable substitutions require agreement. When customers supply materials, they are responsible for suitable products and quantities unless otherwise agreed. Payment amounts and timing are governed by the accepted estimate or separate project agreement.
Payments, Deposits, Refunds, and Cancellations
Payment amounts, deposits, payment schedules, cancellation terms, refund eligibility, and any non-refundable amounts will be stated in the customer’s accepted estimate, invoice, payment request, or separate project agreement when applicable. Terms may vary depending on the type, size, materials, scheduling, and scope of the project. Customers are responsible for reviewing and accepting the applicable payment terms before making payment or authorizing work.
Payments made through the website may be processed by a third-party payment processor such as Stripe.
Customer Information and Media
You are responsible for providing accurate contact, property, project, and access information. Photos or videos submitted with a request may be used privately to evaluate or perform the work. Carolina Home Surgeons will use media publicly for a portfolio, review, or promotion only when you intentionally submit or authorize it for that purpose.
